Bernie Unleahes the 627 Oil finish Maple neck, Mahogany wings, solid mahogany top, Floyd Rose tremolo, EMG 85 bridge, single coil SA, Full access to the 27th fret with a shreadder neck profile. These will be available in the custom shop but Bernie is releasing a limited production run of his own specifications. They are also available in your own desired custom specs.

Bernie Rico Jr & Jerry Only collaborate on new bass.
Bernie Rico Jr. and Jerry Only of the Misfits have collaborated on building his Devastator line of basses. This new bass was displayed at the 2007 Winter NAMM show and has created a lot of interest.

 '07 Winter NAMMadmin On Thursday 22 March 2007 - 15:39:00 | Strapping Young Lad Straps On His Rico Jr Vixen Guitarist Jed Simon from the industrial thrash band Strapping Young Lad is the latest extreme musician to join the Bernie Rico Jr Guitars Revolution as part of the endorsing artists’ team. As a result of his new affiliation, Simon will be playing Custom Shop Vixens hand built by Bernie Rico Jr. Guitars.
The Canadian band, from Vancouver, B.C., is recognized as one of the leaders in the “brutal metal” genre. Their latest album, The New Black, refines the band’s sound and brings a new definition to this part of the metal scene.
“This band knows what it’s doing and it is leading the way”, says Rico. “We’re proud to be associated with them – we think Strapping Young Lad and Bernie Rico Jr. Guitars are going places.”

Misfits Jerry Only to Appear at Bernie Rico Jr. Booth Misfits bass player and all-around attractive guy Jerry Only will be making appearances at the Bernie Rico Jr. Guitars booth (#5250) during the upcoming Anaheim NAMM show. Only, shown here at the 2006 Rico Jr. NAMM show booth, will be introducing his new Devastator bass, the result of a collaborative effort between the bass player and Bernie Rico Jr.
NAMM show attendees are invited to check at the Bernie Rico Jr. Guitars booth for a schedule of Jerry Only’s appearances, for more information on the new Devastator bass, and for a few show surprises, too.
